Breakfast was ok (toast, cakes, juice, coffee, hot chocolat and tea) - nothing special but enough there was enough space to park our car for free small kitchen with fridge and mikrowave receptionist was very friendly by the way the elevator is old but it works
It was very old, old blankets and furniture with holes from cigarettes our room smelled a bit strange (at the sink and bathroom as if it was wet under the floor and coukd never dry) it is quite loud from the streets and other rooms

The only thing was the location to all the activities in san francisco.
When we arrived at the hotel, the old man at the desk was very rude. I requested a room located in quite section, and he said too bad you get what you get. The room floor, ceiling had looked like never cleaned, there was food marks on the ceiling, the shower didnt drain and caused it to back up. I told the manager, he said he would get someone took all day.The bed was hard, and sleeping on coiled springs. Didnt get a nights rest.The tv would have no signal had to call front desk.I woke him up.The continental breakfast not, it was juice old bread, coffee. I would never stay here again the parking had only maybe 8 spots. Good luck in finding a parking spot. I would advise never to stay here.

Location in the city.
Very poor service at reception. Rooms felt dirty, stains on chairs, telephone smashed. Lamp broken and glued back together. Not enough towels, no bathroom floor mat or flace cloths. The room door was open when we arrived - guess it was to air the room - had a smell to it. The elevator only had a tempory licence to operate - yes it needed work. Lots of rubbish blowing around it the carpark. Breakfast was included - that is if you wanted only coffee.

Do not go here. Horrible customer service and prices are not worth the rooms.
The rooms were torn up, stains on my sheets, and for the free breakfast, a honeybun? Ridiculous.

The front desk staff was very helpful. He was especially helpful with the tour I had booked. The room was clean but had not been updated. There was a nice size fridge in the room.
Electrical outlets needed updating. I had a difficult time charging my cell phone. A ceiling fan would have been nice or screens on the window. I was in a room on the third floor and it was stuffy in there.

Lack of air conditioning in the room. We wouldn't have minded had our stay not coincided with the only hot days in San Francisco this summer :-)

Clean & comfortable bed and room. We stayed on second floor. Elevator small but works well, provided everyone that uses it closes the door after them. Decor dated but still clean. Plenty of parking. Seems to be in a safe area. Quiet with no traffic noise.. Near Mels Diner & ihop. Plenty of Bars and restaurants nearby. Helpful Stafff. Good Breakfast. Long walk to Pier 39 and equally long to Golden Gate Bridge. Plent of buses taxis etc.nearby. Good value for Downtown Lombard Street.
Nothing of note. The bad reviews are malicious and definitely not true..

Location was very good
Manager was not friendly carpet very dirty room was very stuffy and smelly when entered and wanted to cancel but could not sheets was not changed when requested to manager information on room not the same as given

Good location and free parking. Nice clean room.
Old air conditioning unit which emitted a burning dust smell so I had to switch it off, thankfully it was a cool night.

Nothing, we had a very strong room odour from a overpowering aresol freshener & the owner was not interested in our complaint
